No matter how many times a day you open your windows to let the fresh air flow in; you are still living every day in a more or less toxic environment. If you cook in your home on a regular basis, if you are a pet owner or if anyone in the house smokes, then these will all contribute to indoor pollution. Acquiring an air purifier can benefit people of all ages and offer protection by minimizing the risk of sickness.

Indoor pollution is the cause and aggravation of many health issues of today, including asthma, allergies, viruses and respiratory problems. Every house contains mites and allergens many of which we are not even aware of, often the air inside our houses has no chance to recirculate as it does outside and this is why it is more prone to retaining toxins.

The allergens you usually will find inside a home include pollen, mold and pet dander and these can all give people allergies. Asthmatic symptoms are an irritated throat, runny nose and tiredness, all increased by polluted air. There is a fairly easy way to diminish the amount of irritants found in a home and rid it of those stale smells quickly and efficiently. These systems can clean up the air you breathe indoors and also help minimize the risk of allergies, asthma and related diseases and illnesses. They can also assist in reducing the spread of flu and cold viruses by cleaning the air we breathe inside our house.

An Air purifier will decrease the allergens in the air using ionization or a filtration method. This cleaning of the air can benefit all ages, as well as anyone who suffers from asthma or allergies it is also beneficial to the elderly, the very young and those in poor health whose immune systems are not as tolerant. Air purifiers can benefit any family as they can purify the air as well as putting a stop to the spread of germs and bacteria.

There are various types of air purifiers on the market that use different techniques to rid the air of toxins. One popular and efficient type that uses a fan to extract the toxins is a Hepa filter system, whilst another common type are air ionizers that send out negative ions into the air thus eradicating the toxins.

As our knowledge and awareness of why people get allergies and asthmatic symptoms increases so does the demand for air purifiers and they are now seen as an important addition to most family homes. Airfree air purifiers are small in size and can fit in any size home; put in a corner they will hardly be noticed. Airfree air purifiers provides a good allergy help, they have been through many tests and proven to be 100% safe, they are known to be highly efficient in reducing pollutants including tobacco smoke, viruses and bacteria, mould, organic odours, ozone and pet dander, dust mite, skeletons and faeces and pollen.

One of the most fashionable types of air filter systems are Airfree air purifiers, with these models, there will be no filters to change, the purifier will destroy all the toxins completely so there is nothing to be thrown away, other air cleaners only collect the pollutants from the air. Other advantages would be that Airfree air purifiers minimize ozone by a considerable percentage and don’t create any kind of emissions that could be dangerous to our health.

There are various designs to choose from when selecting your airfree air purifiers, contemporary and smart they make no noise as there are no fans in use and you won’t even notice it is in the room. They are lightweight systems and easy to carry from one room to another if required. The system is a low cost method of air cleaning and can be left to operate 24 hours every day, with no noticeable difference to your electricity bill. Additionally there are no bulbs or filters to be replaced as with some models.

Check airfree air purifiers out online along with air conditioning and portable dehumidifier products and see the options available. As well as making your workplace and home a safer and pleasanter environment, the use of air purification systems will help reduce allergy and asthma symptoms you or your children might suffer from. A proficient air purifier will be able to minimize air toxins by nearly 100% and will be a benefit to any home or office.

Environmental researchers have proved that the room air we breathe in is more contaminated than the air outside. In fact the air we breathe during our sleep, relaxation at home or office is more polluted!
This polluted air that makes us fall sick easily.

The ultimate way to solve this problem is getting an air purifier. Air purifiers are helpful to people suffering from asthma and allergies due to pollen grains, mold spores, pet dander, microorganism and bacteria.

Ultra-violet air purifier destroys chemical and biological contaminants like viruses, mold, allergens, cigarette smoke, bacteria, diesel fumes, pet odors, construction dust and many other airborne contaminants.

Asthma is a condition characterized by breathing difficulties caused by narrowing of the airways (bronchioles and bronchi) leading to the lungs.

Persons Affected:
It occurs in 3-5 percent of all people at some time in life. It affects all age groups except newborn babies and affects both the sexes equally.

Symptoms:
The main symptoms are breathlessness, wheezing cough usually getting worse at night. In a severe attack, the breathing rate increases sharply and pulse rises. The person is not in a position to speak due to breathlessness. The skin may turn blue due to lack of oxygen, known as cyanosis.

Causes:
The usual cause is bronchiole hypersensitivity to foreign substances in the air. The foreign substance could be pollens, air borne pollutants like vehicle emissions, animal fur, smoke, smog, cigarette smoke, ozone, perfumes, hairspray et.
There is a worldwide increase in the number of asthma patients due to increase in the smoke levels in the cities.

Treatment and Role of Air Purifiers:
The day to day treatment involves management to avoid the trigger which triggers the asthma attacks. A person spends most of his time indoors and presence of purified clean air can help a lot in preventing triggering of asthmatic reaction. An air purifier works by removing environmental triggers like airborne allergens contaminants, smoke and smog.

A person cannot avoid exposure to polluted air but he can certainly control the environment in his dwelling or work place. Further an air purifier provides relief to the lungs of an asthmatic person by providing clean air so that he can breathe easily.

An air purifier works by cleaning the air indoors and prevent triggers like smoke, smog, pollen, exhaust fumes etc reaching inside the room. Care should be taken to avoid air cleaners which produce ozone, which rather than reducing asthma may trigger an asthma attack.

One of the best ways a dog day care facility can make a good first impression is by smelling fresh. Here are 3 reasons an air purifier can help.

Our noses probably tell us before our eyes whether something is clean or not. We may not be able to see the problem, but we can sure smell it. The smell of pet urine odor is a real turn off and is one of the first indications clients have of how well or how not so well you will take care of their dog.

Very few, if any pet owners, will choose to leave their beloved family dog in a facility that doesn't smell clean. A bad smelling facility will make it unacceptable right from the start. And they certainly would not want their pampered pooch to cause their home to smell foul as well.

And even more than the smell, emotionally it doesn't feel good to leave their companion and friend in a place that isn't nice. Continuous and effective filtration of pet urine and other odors will keep your air smelling fresh and clean 24 hours every day.

When dogs are kept in close proximity to one another, they stand a greater chance of developing diseases that spread easily from one dog to another. Because the dogs are mostly kept in an enclosed area, airborne viruses and bacteria spread easily from one dog to the next on airborne particulates. Viruses and bacteria attach to airborne particles such as dust, mold and mildew spores, hair, fur, and dander and make it easy for the dogs to inhale or ingest these disease spreaders.

Removing these airborne germs before their can cause problems means your canine clients will stay healthier, and always be ready to come in and play when they are dropped off each morning, and your human clients will be reassured that their dog is receiving the best possible care at your facility.

And even though filtering the air is an excellent step to take to preserve the health of the dogs, clean air is also good for you, your human clients, and the people who work in your facility; it's also good for you and your staff who will spend at least 8 hours or more a day breathing the air. Filtering the air with an air cleaner that is designed to remove pet pollutants is a must regardless of how big or where your dog day care facility is located; and whether it has a staff of 2 or 10 or more, you'll have an easier time attracting quality staff if they know they will work in a place that not only cares about the dogs, but about their working conditions too.

Staff members that are warm and caring with both 2 and 4-legged clients will attract new clients and make repeat customers out of old clients.

If part of your student's college experience includes living in a dormitory, they will need help insuring that the air quality in their dorm room is healthy.

Dorm rooms can often be old, dusty, and have antiquated heating and air systems, all of which can keep airborne particles ready to be inhaled or ingested. This is definitely not good for anyone, particularly those who suffer from allergies, asthma or other chronic respiratory conditions.

Dormitories that are new or newly renovated are often full of paint smells, fumes from adhesives used when installing new tile or linoleum. And even though every attempt is made to control dust from new construction or renovation, it sometimes takes months for the dust to literally settle.

Those can be perfectly miserable months if your student has any sensitivity to these pollutants. And a roommate that uses products that are fragrance-rich or insists on burning incense can add in an unpleasant way to the mix of irritants in the air.

Fortunately, you can gain greater control over your student's air quality by continually filtering the air. A portable dorm room air purifier is your first and best defense, and it needs to have the following 6 features if it is to be effective.

1. Light Weight - It should be light enough to carry easily from one side of the room to the other or across campus in case of a room change. Wheels should be an option to further facilitate portability.

2. On Duty 24 Hours - A purifier with a split capacitor motor insures that it can operate safely 24 hours a day and keep up with both the expected and unexpected pollutants in the air. This continual coverage assures that your student will always walk into a room that is comfortable to be in because airborne pollutants have not been allowed to build up while they were away.

3. Low Maintenance - A college student is probably not going to be interested in spending free time maintaining an air purifier. And even if they were, filter maintenance seems like such a misuse of valuable time. An effective unit should be able to take care of your student and itself without constant management. Avoid those cleaners that require washing, charging, spraying, or frequent filter replacement. They drive up the cost, and even if your student is willing to do the maintenance, it will add considerably to the amount of time when the filter is not filtering the air.

4. Long Lasting Filter - Look for a cleaner that only needs its filter changed once every 5 years. This will take most students through their college career and beyond. This means if you buy right, you'll only need to buy once, and that in itself saves time and money.

5. Flexible Placement - Dorm rooms are often cramped with not much floor space after the prerequisite beds and desks. So an air purifier that can be placed as close as 6 inches to any surface makes it easier to live with. It should also be able to operate high or low in the room to be the most accommodating.

6. HEPA Filtration - With the Swine Flu, and other viruses so easily able to spread through the air, it makes good sense to select a purifier with a high efficiency particle arresting (shortened to HEPA) filter that can eliminate airborne bacteria and viruses as small as .3 microns.

There's nothing quite like having your hair done in a beauty salon. It's a relaxing and enjoyable way to give a little attention to you. If you are the owner of a hair salon, that's exactly what you want your customers to think when they envision your shop.

The best way to keep the beauty shop experience a good one is to make sure that the smells and odors from the chemicals that are used are eliminated. Cleaning up the air for aesthetic reasons makes it an option, filtering the air to avoid serious health issues makes it a must. Here are the top 5 reasons why you need an air purifier now.

Hair Spray-Keeping the style in place with hair spray often seems like a rite of passage for those getting their hair done. Not only does it hold the style, but the smell for some says "professionally done".

Evaporating volatile organic chemicals from many of the products used in your salon are at the root of poor air quality problems, and can make the air in your shop hazardous. This can trigger unpleasant symptoms (sneezing, watering or burning eyes, scratchy throat, headache, and nausea) in those who suffer from asthma, allergy or chemical sensitivity.

Having a client suffer this kind of reaction at your shop would make for a memorable experience, but not the kind that would make a repeat customer. And because many more people are aware of the effects that poor indoor air quality can have on their health, they will only frequent salons that smell fresh and clean.

Smoke-Many like their hair pressed, and or curled with a hot iron. And even though it makes for great looking hair--smoke is smoke whether it's from a curling iron or a cigarette. And the bottom line is it is unhealthy to breathe.

And speaking of tobacco smoke, if you still allow smoking in your salon (this could be reducing your bottom line as many people only patronize smoke-free businesses) filtering the air would minimize the smell of it and the hazardous effects of second hand smoke for everyone in the shop.

Chemicals from Perms and Dye-Lots of people who have straight hair want curly, and lots of have curly want straight, people that have black hair want red, those that have red want brown, and those who have brown want blond. So coloring and perming agents aren't going anywhere any time soon.

Aprons protect your clothes and those of your clients, and gloves protect your hands, but safeguarding everyone's health with an air cleaner not only makes coming to your salon a good time, but safe for your clients as well.

Nails and Toenails-If you pride yourself on being a full service salon that offers manicures and pedicures, you have probably seen quite an increase in your customer base. But you have also exponentially increased the number of airborne chemicals being released into the air each time these services are performed.

Filing of artificial nails releases thousands of fine particulates into the air, and nail polish, adhesives, hardeners, and other products used are high in volatile organic chemicals that evaporate into the air easily. Most of these have been shown to be hazardous to your health, and long term inhalation of these chemicals often lead to serious health problems.

Aesthetically, it just doesn't smell good and does nothing to add to a positive beauty shop experience. Removing these airborne pollutants puts your mind at ease about maintaining your good health and the health of your customers and those who work in your shop.

Your Health-We've talked about your customers' well being, now let's talk about you and your associates. Even if your customers came every day, they would only be exposed to a fraction of the chemicals that you are. And if you have a shop that has a number of other beauticians working in it, it doesn't take a mathematician to see that the number of chemicals you are all exposed to daily is phenomenal-and not in a good way.

Not only is clean air something that your clients deserve, but that you and every one working in your salon deserves too. A high efficiency particle arresting (HEPA) air purifier that is designed to remove airborne chemicals needs to be put to work in your shop today to improve air quality and everyone's chances of staying healthy.
